Message from the President
Since our founding in 1963, the Takeuchi Group has achieved growth in the construction machinery market by developing the world’s first mini excavator and the world’s first compact track loader, pioneering new markets and continuously identifying and responding to needs around the world.
Our compact construction equipment is deeply connected to housing, one of the fundamental necessities of life, supporting happy and fulfilling lives by helping build homes where people can relax and laying water pipes that provide access to essential water. Furthermore, we generate over 95% of our consolidated net sales overseas, with North America and Europe serving as our main markets. Compared to Japan, construction equipment in the North American and European markets sees much longer operating hours. Our primary competitive strength lies in the high market reputation of our machinery. Renowned for power, durability, ease of operation, operator comfort, and ease of maintenance, our products deliver unique value that earns high praise across both markets.
Our company was established with a clear vision from our founder: to bring "things that do not yet exist" and "things that are useful to people" into the world. This spirit remains our guiding principle today, carried forward in our corporate philosophy: "From World First to World Leader Takeuchi." To help build a sustainable society, we are developing new products to expand our lineup of battery-powered mini excavators. While the transition toward electrification in the construction machinery market is currently progressing much more slowly than expected due to economic and efficiency disadvantages, decarbonization remains a global consensus. We remain committed to contributing broadly to society by developing, manufacturing, selling, and providing after-sales support for eco-friendly products that make community building safer and more efficient.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and guidance as we move forward.
